The Distinctive Unit Insignia was originally approved for the 541st Supply and Service Battalion on 13 March 1967. It was redesignated for the 541st Maintenance Battalion on 30 August 1973 and for the 541st Support Battalion on 9 February 2006.

Shield: Gules (Crimson), a stylized sun Or, debruised by a fess wavy Azure, overall a doublewarded key bow to base of the second.
Crest: From a wreath Or and Gules (Crimson), upon a sand mount Or (Khaki), a camel statant in front of a palm tree all Proper.
Motto: None.

Distinctive Unit Insignia, Description: A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a vertical gold-warded key with its bow in base and its shank crossing a horizontal wavy blue bar in front of a gold sun of sixteen rays.
