Origin/meaning
The Colours Green and Yellow are those of the Military Police Units. The Axe denotes strength and continual vigilance. The Gauntlets symbolise total military preparedness. The Trefoil denotes the Unit's three World War II Campaigns. The Crest symbolises Service in the Vietnam War. The Distinctive Unit Insignia and the Coat of Arms was authorized 2 September 1998.
