Origin/meaning
The Greek cross is a symbol of assistance. The Hisbiscus is the State flower of Hawaii, Home State of the Center. The Palms and the Diamond Head Mountain symbolises the Hospital's location on the Island of Oahu. The Water symbolic of Life's origin and sustenance, refers to the Pacific.
The Design was approved on July 27, 1971.
