Origin/meaning

The Badge represents both of the provinces in the Brigade's area of responsibility. New Brunswick is symbolized by the galley from the provincial arms, while Newfoundland is represented by the Viking long ship. The wavy lines symbolize the sea between the two provinces. The green indicates that the Brigade is a land based unit. The Motto translates as "United we are stronger". The badge was approved by the Canadian Heraldic Authority on December 1, 2001.
