Official blazon
French Blazon wanted
English Badge:Vert semé of ears of wheat a bison head caboshed Or.

Motto:UNITED AND ENDURING.

Origin/meaning

The bison head, a symbol of Manitoba, is taken from the badge of the 17 (Winnipeg) Service Battalion and the ears of wheat, a symbol of Saskatchewan, from that of the 16 (Saskatchewan) Service Battalion. The green represents the forest and thus the fir tree of the badge of the 18 (Thunder Bay) Service Battalion. These three units were amalgamated in 2010 to form the 38 Service Battalion. The Badge was approved by the Canadian Heraldic Authority on July 15, 2014.
