Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on August 27, 1985.

The fleur-de-lis in the chief is derived from the arms of the Fugger family, which had large possessions in the area. The crosier is the symbol of the Lindau Convent. The apple tree symbolises the importance of apple growing in the municipality.
