The badge symbolises that this is the Base of the Pasukan Khas Laut or Naval Special Warfare Forces. Panglima Hitam was the title given to brave and loyal Malay soldiers of the Sultans and Rajas of Perak, Selangor, Joho and Negeri Sembilan.
