Arms : Or, a staff of Aesculapius gules; a bordure sable charged with four butterflies of the field.
Crest: On a wreath of the colours, A looped cross Or between two wings sable.
Supporters: On either side a serpent Or, langued gules.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 12, 1926 in England and Wales to the then Royal Medico Psychological Association, and in 1972 in Scotland to the Royal College of Psychiatrists (image above).
