Crest : An alphyn Gules armed, langued and tufted Argent.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on 8 July 1988 by by Lyon Sir Malcolm Innes of Edingight.

Stothers and Hardy Limited was the first company to use a microchip in its coat of arms

Stothers and Hardy was a software developer, by appointment to her majesty to queen. The arms are a combination of the Stothers coat of arms (for Thomas Stothers) and the Hardy coat of arms (for Ken Hardy) separated by the microchips.
