German | In Silber ein freischwebendes schwarzes Tatzenkreuz über drei 2:1 gestellten aufrechtstehenden grünen Eicheln. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 15, 1964.
The village was a longtime possession of the Commandery of the Teutonic Order in Mülheim. Hence the small cross of the Order as the main charge of the arms.
The three acorns refer to the forests (Wald) in the area and the three villages Echelnpöten, Taubeneiche and Waldhausen in the municipality.
