The ant was chosen as the squadron emblem. Ants are hardworking animals that work well together as a team. Ants are intelligent insects that live together in ordered units of many individuals. They have developed their social instincts to a high degree of perfection and conduct their campaigns as well-disciplined armies. Ants help each other in need and defend their nests at the risk of their own lives. Within the colony, information is transmitted quickly over great distances. A regular division of labor is established, and all are imbued with great zeal, each individual ant working not only for himself, but above all for his fellow creatures. | |||
