The tinctures are Brodure Gules, field Argent, Cross and tressure Azure. Mantling Azure doubled Argent. Crest a Castle Or with two Towers. The Cross symbolises Postugal and the Brodure the Military Region. The Crest is from the coat of Arms of Porto, where the Region's HQ was located.
The Motto translates as "Honour and Bavery".
Military Region North was deactivated in 2006.
