Escudo de prata, proa de barco (picareto) vogando sobre um ondeado de azul e prata em contra-chefe e acompanhado de quatro ramos de oliveira de verde, frutados de negro, passados dois a dois em aspa e atados de vermelho; em chefe, flor-de-lis de púrpura. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: «ORTIGA».
