Escudo partido. Primero, en plata, una cruz de Santiago, de gules. Segundo, en gules, ondas de plata y azur, surmontadas de un palacio, de oro, aclarado de azur.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 17, 1956.
The arms show in the right half a cross as the symbol of the Order of St. James, who owned some properties in the municipality. The left half shows the Royal mansion on the Tajo river in the municipality.
