I blått fält, Östergötlands vapenbild en grip av guld med drakvingar och draksvans samt med röd tunga och beväring.

(Azure, the provincial badge of Östergötland agriffin with dragon wing and tail or, armed and langued gules.)

Motto: (not shown) Primus inter pares = First among equals.

Origin/meaning

The Division also known as the Middle Division was located to Östergötland hence the Griffin in the Arms. The Coat of Arms was approved 1996 and used until disbandment of the Division in 1997.
