  • (fr) Écartelé: au 1er d'or à deux vaches de gueules, clarinées d'azur passant l'une au-dessus de l'autre, au 2e d'argent à deux chaînes déjointes de sable, posées en chevron renversé, accompagnées en chef d'une croisette pattée la branche horizontale d'azur et la branche verticale de gueules brochante au 3e d'or au chêne coupé de sinople, au 4e de pourpre à un derrick de sable, la base enflammée d'or, senestré d'une cornue brochante d'argent.

Origin/meaning

The two cows represent the Béarn region and the agricultural chracter of the municipality.

The cross represents the religious order of the Trinitarians dating from the 15th century, the two broken chains represent the prisoners to whom the Trinitarians visited.

The oak represents the forests and demonstrates the importance of this resource in the past.

A retort leaning against a well symbolizes the industrialization of the town.
