Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 15, 2006.
The colour green represents youth, strength and the open spaces of Quebec. The tree symbolizes family and ancestors. The blue of the upper portion represents the sky and the sea beyond the ramparts. The embattled line refers to Quebec City and its ramparts.
The motto means “To regenerate”.
