2ND TRAIN REGIMENT GÖTA TRAIN REGIMENT, SWEDISH ARMY
Raised : 1891 as Göta trängbataljon, 1902 renamed Första Göta trängkår and in 1904 Göta trängkår
In 1947 the Corps become a Regiment, Today the only Remaining Train Regiment of the Swedish Armed Forces it is named Trängregementet (Train Regiment) see this
Garrison : Stockholm (1891-1892), Karlsborg (1892-1905) and Skövde (1905-present).

Origin/meaning
Göta symbolism with the Wheel and Swords of the Train Troops. The Regiment was rasied in 1949 and is today the only remaining Train Regiment of the Swedish Army.
