VORDERWEISSENBACH
State : Oberösterreich
District : Urfahr-Umgebung
Additions : 2018 Schonegg
Official blazon
- (1970) In Grün ein erniedrigter, silberner Wellenbalken, darüber ein goldener, sechsstrahliger Stern.
- (2018)
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted in 2018.
The arms are a combination of the previous arms (see below) and the arms of Schönegg.
The previous arms were officially granted on January 19, 1970.
The white wavy bar is canting (Weissen-bach, white-brook). The star symbolises that the village is at the base of the Sternstein mountain, with 1125 m the highest mountain in the region.
