STEGEBORG
Province (Landskap): Östergötland
County (Län): Östergötlands län
Additions : 1952 Börrum, Mogata, Sankt Anna, Skällvik
Incorporated into : 1974 Söderköping
Official blazon=
I rött fält ett från en medelst vågskura bildad stam av silver uppskjutande krenelerat torn av guld, åtföljt på dexter sida av en stolpvis ställd hammare och på sinister sida av en stolpvis ställd fisk, bägge av silver.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 28, 1956.
The tower refers to the medieval fortress in the municipality and is a canting element (-borg means fortress/castle). The hammer is taken from the seal of Hammarkinds härad, to which the area historically belonged. The base and the fish are taken from the seal of the Stegeborg archipelago court from 1640.
