Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on October 25, 2012.
The arms combine the arms of the Jelita family clan, with two apples. The area historically was ruled by the Boglewski family, which belonged to the Jelita clan. The apples refer to the extensive apple cultivation in the region.
