SOLLENTUNA

Province (Landskap): Uppland
County (Län): Stockholms län

Sollentuna kommunvapen

Official blazon=

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1946 and registered in 1974.

During the times of the vikings, there was a trading route through Sollentuna, which for a short part was broken by land. Over land, the ships were rolled, which is shown in the arms. On this place, following the described conditions, a lot of reloading and trade were made, which later developed into a town.
