Shoulder Loop Insignia: Maroon, white and gold (yellow) are the school colors. The gold disc alludes to the school’s home state, Florida, the “Sunshine State”. The alligator is the school mascot. The triangle denotes the cadets’ involvement in school, community, and country. 
The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia and Shoulder Loop Insignia was approved on 27 February 1995.
