Wapen: Gewelfd deursnede van silwer en blou, tussen twee silwer verkorte geboe versmalde dwarsbalke, die punte aanstotend om 'n elips te vorm, 'n silwer skyf belaai met 'n skyf gegeer van goud en swart; 'n gewelfde gekanteelde swart skildhoof.
Helmteken: Voor 'n bloukraanvoel van silwer, vlerke omhoog, rooi gebek, 'n blou weegskaal.
Wrong en Dekklede: Silwer en blou.
Wapenspreuk: RES SECUNDAE PER EXCELLENTIAM

Arms: Per fess enarched Argent and Azure, within two bars couped, bowed and the ends conjoined to form an elipse, Argent, a plate charged with a roundel gyrony Or and Sable; a chief enarched embattled Sable.
Crest: In front of a blue crane, wings elevated Argent, beaked Gules, a balance Azure.
Wreath and mantling: Argent and Azure.
Motto: RES SECUNDAE PER EXCELLENTIAM

The arms were officially granted on January 14, 1983 to the then South African Society for Quality Control.
