Description: On a yellow shield, a diagonal red bar from upper left to lower right in front of a white torch enflamed red, and overall a black horse’s head couped at the neck; attached above the shield a yellow scroll inscribed “LINCOLN” in black letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width and 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height overall
Origin/meaning
The School colors are red and yellow. The Mustang is the School Mascot. The Torch symbolizes knowledge and learning.
The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia was approved on 10 January 1985.
