  • (1956) I fält av guld två blå flanker och mellan dessa två stolpvis ordnade röda sparrar, åtföljda nedan av ett rött vattenhjul.
  • (1979) I fält av guld från en av vågskura bildad stam av silver uppskjutande svart krenelerad portbyggnad med krenelerade, på snedsträvor vilande skyttegångar och med två krenelerade torn, vartdera avslutat med en kupol, krönt med en lilja.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially registered in 1971.

These are the arms of the former Lödöse municipality, see there.

The previous arms were officially granted on April 20, 1956.
