Escudo de azul, vieira de ouro realçada de negro e duas estrelas de David, de prata, tudo alinhado em roquete; em campanha, monte de três cômoros de ouro, movente da ponta. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “ PENHASCOSO ”.

The arms were officially granted on October 31, 2002.
