Escudo de azul, figura de São Jorge envergando armadura de prata e com um manto vermelho, cabeça e mãos de carnação, a cabeça nimbada de ouro, montado num cavalo de sua cor (branco) selado, arreiado e xairelado de vermelho, matando com uma lança de prata um dragão de ouro, armado, lampassado e animado de vermelho. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro em maiúsculas : “ SÃO JORGE - SANTANA “.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 9, 1993.
The arms show St. George, the local patron saint.
