Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 8th May 1990.

The palm tree is the attribute of St. Christopher, the local patron saint, and the three chevrons symbolise a place named El Migmón, a series of cliffs dug out by the river Cardener, at North-West of the town: the action of water on Súria fault has outcropped the gypsum and salts of this land. Actually, most people of Súria works in the potassium salt deposits as this one.
