Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on February 13, 1937 and again on March 31, 1992.
The arms show a knight on a white horse in front of a white castle. The knight wears a shield with a double-cross. This composition was also used by the Czatoryski family, who ruled the city for a long time. Compare also Puławy.
