ALGRANGE
Département : Moselle
[[File:algrange.jpg|center|350 px[[Category:|alt-Blason de Algrange / Arms of Algrange]]
French | De gueules au marteau d'argent, chargé d'un dragon contourné d'or, les ailes éployées et la queue tortillée autour du marteau. |
English | No blazon/translation known. Please click here to send your (heraldic !) blazon or translation |
Origin/meaning
The hammer and the red colour refer to the metal industry in the town. The dragon is taken from the arms of the St. Vanne Abbey in Verdun, as Algrange historically was one of the main possessions of the abbey.
