Ecartelé au 1° d’or à trois montagnes accolées de sinople chargée chacune d’un filet en bande d’argent, et surmontées d’un faucon pèlerin de sable ; au 2° de gueules au soleil d’or issant du canton senestre accompagné de trois fleurs de colchiques d’argent posée 1 - 2  ; au 3° d’argent à deux sapins de sable mis en bande ; au 4° d’azur à quatre truites la 1° et la 4° en pal et affrontées, la 2° et la 3° en fasce et adossées.

Origin/meaning

The first quarter shows the local mountains with mine shafts and a falcon. The second refers to the meadows and the sunny climate, the third to the local forests and the fourth to the rich rivers.

The arms may be decorated with the War Cross 1939-45.
