Administrative division
Guyana is divided into 10 regions. The different regions are:
- Barima-Waini
- Pomeroon-Supenaam
- Essequibo Islands-West Demerara
- Demerara-Mahaica
- Mahaica-Berbice
- East Berbice-Corentyne
- Cuyuni-Mazaruni
- Potaro-Siparuni
- Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo
- Upper Demerara-Berbice
The regions are divided into 27 neighborhood councils, which are further divided into communities.
None of these, as far as I know, use arms, neither do the individual cities.
