Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, în câmp albastru aflându-se un cal și un călăreț de argint. Calul este în galop spre dreapta, cu frâu de argint. Călărețul este încoronat, poartă o mantie și are spada încinsă la mijloc, spre stânga. El poartă în mâna dreaptă topuzul, iar în mâna stângă frâul, toate de argint.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 3, 2004.

The arms refer to the memory of Prince Radu de la Afumați (1522-1529).

The silver mural crown, with a crenellated tower, means that the locality has the rank of commune.
