Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on December 18, 2020.

The green and silver form a canting element for Lavallée ('the valley'), whereas the boxwood (buis) branch is canting for the name of the valley: la Vallée de Bussy.

The cross symbolises Saint Maurice, the patron saint of the parish.

The two bees refer to the fact that the village was once famous for its apiaries and the quality of the wax extracted.

The ears of wheat underline the agricultural character of the village.
