Official blazon

Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, încadrat cu un chevron (căprior de aur). În câmpul superior, pe fond albastru, se află două dropii de aur, amplasate dreapta-stânga. În vârful scutului, pe fond roșu, se află fântâna heraldică de aur, cu un brâu undat de culoare neagră. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu trei turnuri crenelate.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 19, 2006.

The Great Bustards represent the emblematic bird of the Bărăgan region.

The fountain refers to the characteristic of the locality which is a spa recognized for the healing properties of the springs and the lake in the area.

The mural crown with three crenellated towers means that the town has the status of a city.
