În câmp de azur, în centru, se află o elice neagră, flancată în dextra și senestra de câte o aripă frântă, de argint. În vârful scutului se află o fascie undată, de argint. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint, cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 14, 2004.

The wings and the propeller refer to the plane crash in the village by Aurel Vlaicu, a Romanian engineer, inventor, airplane constructor and early pilot.

The wavy bar refers to the Prahova river.
