BOTENI

District/county (județ) : Argeș

Stema Boteni

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 6, 2014.

The wavy pale symbolizes the Argeșel river, which crosses the town.

The 4 acorns represent the forest richness of the area, and their number indicates the number of component villages.

The whistle evokes the traditional folk festival "Festivalul Brâul de la Boteni".

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
