CORNEA

District/county (județ) : Caraș-Severin

Stema Cornea

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 24, 2004.

The three trees signify the forest richness of the area, as well as the fruit growing of the hill area.

The cross and hilly formations symbolize the connection of the local people with Christianity.

The temple earring is an archaeological ornament discovered here and exhibited at the Museum of Banat Montan in Reșița, Caraș-Severin County.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
