The arms are devised and adopted in 1941.
The rose is taken from the arms of the Seftigen district, to which the village belonged historically. The lower part is canting, Stock meaning trunk. The arms are nearly identical to the arms of Niederstocken. The two stars represent Ober- and Niederstocken. In Niederstocken the trunk is in the (canting) lower half, in Oberstocken in the upper half.
