Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on June 3, 2022.
The chief symbolises Normandy, the cross of Lorraine recalls that General Leclerc had established his camp there and also pays tribute to two resistance fighters killed locally; the cross was the symbol of the French resistance. The horse's head recalls the importance of stud farms in the municipality.
