Origin/meaning

The horn and alerion symbolize the hamlet Althorn where the dukes of Lorraine had a castle. Thehorn is canting, the alerion is the symbol for Lorraine.

The mountain and the Royal banner represent the village of Sarreinsberg which was first called Mount Royal.

The base shows a canting bridge (Bruck is German for bridge), the blue bars symbolise the many rivers and streams in the municipality. The vase and flames symbolise the local glass industry.
