Origin/meaning
These arms have been officially granted on 4th October 1996.
Canting arms: they show a lime tree ("tell" in Catalan). The town belonged to the Crown since the 14th century, and this is shown by the royal arms of Catalonia-Aragon (four pales Gules on Or) at the base.
