Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in 1983.
The greyhound and the blue field are taken from the coat of arms of Certain de Germay de Cirfontaine, lord of the village. The two windmills refer to the two former windmills on two hills of the village.
The tower refers to the ruins of a small castle that would be dated to Merovingian times and called by tradition the castle of Galli-Burdo.
