Origin/meaning
The green symbolises the Mardinchon forest, which once was lost in a game by the Lord of Mardinchon. The silver bend symbolises the old Roman road through the forest. The cross symbolises St. Vaast, as the village historically was subjected to the St. Vaast Abbey in Arras.
