Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on December 6, 2018.

The wolf's head refers to the so-called 'Wolf chapel' in the town. The green field refers to the local forest and agricultural character of the village. The sword is the symbol of St. Martin of Tours, the local patron saint and the leopard in chief is the symbol for Normandy.
