Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on August 26, 2019.
The vaulted partition refers to the rounded top of a balloon and thus constitutes a canting element in the arms.
The Roman centurion helmet and the 'crown'with an amphora refer to a Roman fortified camp that existed in the territory of Baâlon.
The two candles are the symbols of Saint Blaise the patron saint of the local church. The pelican in piety is taken from the arms of the Maclot family, former Lords of Baâlon.
