Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on October 10, 2003.
The banner is the symbol of the local patron saint, St. John Baptist. The goat head refers to the former importance of goat herding for the village and region. The embattled chief refer to the former walls of the village. The chief is taken from the arms of the Montagut family, former lords of the village.
