The arms were officially granted on ?
The red shield is taken from the arms of the Lords of Malberg 
as the are historically belonged to the Malberg estate. The three balls are the symbol of St. Nicholas, the local patron saint. The plough iron is a symbol for the agricultural character of the municipality.
