Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on January 9, 1981.

The arms show in the upper half the arms of the State of Fulda, as all three former municipalities historically belonged to Fulda. The crown symbolises the Thulba Priory, which ruled Schönderling and Singenrain. The crown is taken from the seal of the priory. The base shows the Schondra river.
